‘’Don’t let Myths be’’ is an artistic project that involves two artists, Eros Bitto and Sara Vettorello, who have created collaborative works: the result of a reflection on what their personal artistic explorations have in common. The connecting thread is an unconscious indifference towards violence: on one hand the mythologization of weapons in medieval epic literature; on the other, glorification of meat as an essential food by obscuring the inevitable abuse of animals. The sword and the meat as positive symbols stripped of their negative connotations. These are images of hidden forms of violence that undergo normalization caused by the media, the news, cinema, and literature. Their invitation is to go beyond this veil of maya.
